I saw this book recommended in a group I belong to on Facebook and thought why not give it a shot. I got the sample and was so engrossed I had to buy it. One of the best purchases I have ever made! The book was so engrossing and entertaining. Sure it has the romance and how can you not fall in love with Nick and even Lance crap who am I kidding you pretty much fall in love with every member of the two families featured but the mystery and the search for the truth sucks you in like a free beer on Thursday bar banner! I am not a bossy person for the love of god buy this book! You will not reget it!

I wasn't looking for a love story. With Force Recon Marine in the title I thought it would have more action. More of a ladies book
Loved it!!! Will read more from this author. Romance and suspense. Love The Marines and their love of country. Couldn't put it down
Really good story with suspense, romance and plenty of steamy, hot scenes. Would definitely recommend more books by S.A. Monk.
It had a nice love story and wasn't overly gushy about it. The storyline was interesting and I wasn't bored at all while reading it.
S.A. Monk tells a complex story, with characters who are compelling and very real. The idea of a commitment of love to friends, country, and heroic ideals is a strong theme in this story, and is demonstrated beautifully in all the characters. This is a book not to miss!
Good story that is well written and thought out. Some minor inconsistences relative to the military portion, but not enough to damage its readability. Good solid action, excellently described. At first the span of time covered (20 years) is a little hard to accept; however, as one reads it becomes less and less a problem. Enjoyable book. Recommend it highly.
I have read multiple books by S.A. Monk and this was FIRST CLASS. The characters were easy to relate to. The twists and turns of the plot made the book hard to put down . The knowledge of the area was geographically on target. AND the love scenes were not raunchy but very romantic. Well done, A+.
